Something powerful is taking shape on Florida's Space Coast.

What began as a platform to celebrate culture, commerce, creativity, and community excellence is evolving into something greater.

Today, we proudly introduce Elevation 321, a community-centered business and economic development organization committed to advancing entrepreneurship, strengthening local businesses, cultivating leadership, and expanding economic opportunity throughout Brevard County.

This is more than a new name or a refreshed identity.

It represents the next chapter of a vision built on meaningful relationships, community investment, and the belief that when people have greater access to opportunity, entire communities can prosper.

Our story began with Black Brilliance on the Rooftop, an experience created to recognize excellence, elevate underrepresented voices, and bring together entrepreneurs, professionals, artists, and community leaders.

From the beginning, our mission extended beyond hosting an event.

We wanted to create a space where local businesses could gain visibility, meaningful relationships could develop, and individuals could connect with opportunities they might not otherwise encounter.

Through our signature Timeless Excellence: A Walk Through Time celebration, we witnessed that vision come to life.

Entrepreneurs showcased their businesses. Community leaders shared their experiences. Artists and musicians brought creativity to the stage. Meaningful conversations connected individuals across industries and generations.

And in one of our proudest milestones, five entrepreneurs received $1,000 micro-grants, representing $5,000 in direct small business investment.

That experience reinforced something we had believed from the beginning:

Our community doesn't lack talent, ambition, or ideas. It needs more platforms, partnerships, and pathways that help those qualities translate into opportunity.

We recognized that the relationships and momentum created through Black Brilliance on the Rooftop deserved a platform that could grow beyond a single annual celebration.

Elevation 321 is that next chapter.

Why Elevation 321?

Our new name was chosen with intention.

Elevation represents progress, advancement, and the belief that we rise higher when we create opportunities for others.

321 represents our home: Brevard County and Florida's Space Coast.

It's the area code that connects our communities and a familiar countdown that symbolizes innovation, possibility, and forward momentum.

Together, Elevation 321 reflects both where we come from and where we intend to go.

We are proudly rooted in the Space Coast, committed to its people, and focused on helping build an environment where businesses, organizations, and individuals have greater opportunities to succeed.

Our identity is local.

Our commitment is long-term.

And our vision is built around the future of this community.

Although our name is changing, the values that inspired Black Brilliance on the Rooftop remain central to our work.

We will continue to champion minority-owned businesses, historically underserved entrepreneurs, and individuals whose talents and contributions deserve greater recognition.

At the same time, Elevation 321 embraces a broader community-centered vision—one that recognizes the importance of bringing businesses, educational institutions, civic leaders, corporate partners, and community organizations together.

Our goal is not to create separate pathways to success.

It is to help build stronger connections across our community so that more people can participate in its economic future.

The legacy of Black Brilliance on the Rooftop will remain part of our story, including the cultural experiences, entrepreneurial celebrations, and community relationships that brought us here.

We are not leaving that legacy behind.

What Comes Next?

Elevation 321 is being developed as a year-round platform for business and community advancement.

Our priorities include expanding opportunities in:

• Entrepreneurship and Business Development: Connecting business owners with education, resources, professional relationships, and opportunities for growth.

• Strategic Partnerships: Building relationships among local businesses, corporations, educational institutions, and community organizations.

• Leadership and Youth Development: Creating opportunities to encourage emerging leaders, develop skills, and connect future generations with mentors and professional experiences.

• Small Business Investment: Building on our micro-grant experience and exploring additional opportunities to support entrepreneurs.

• Community Events and Experiences: Continuing to create spaces that celebrate excellence, strengthen connections, and bring culture, commerce, and community together.

For founder Crystal Plain, the evolution into Elevation 321 represents both a continuation of the original mission and a commitment to building something with lasting community value.
